How to sign a PDF on your phone – free, no sign-up
Got a PDF you need to sign, and no printer or scanner nearby? You can sign it right on your phone in under a minute. Here is how to do it with EasyPen – free, with no sign-up.
What you need
- A phone (Android or iPhone) with a browser, such as Chrome or Safari.
- The PDF saved on your phone, or open in WhatsApp or your email.
Step by step
- Open EasyPen at easypen.vplusstudio.app. No account and nothing to install. The app is in English when your phone is set to English.
- Tap "Upload document" and choose the PDF. You can also pick a photo of a document (JPG or PNG), or several files to combine into one document.
- Tap "Signature" at the bottom of the screen and draw your signature with your finger inside the frame. Tick "Save for reuse" and next time your signature is one tap away.
- Place the signature: drag it into position, and resize it by pulling its corner or with the size slider.
- Need to fill in details? "Text" adds your name, a date or an ID number anywhere on the page. "Draw" lets you tick a box or write freehand.
- Tap "Save & Share", choose a file name, and send it straight to WhatsApp, email or any other app.
Is my document uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens inside the browser on your phone: the document and your signature are never sent to any server. That is also why no account is needed.
Tips
- Several pages? Scroll to the page you need to sign before tapping "Signature" – it is added to the page on screen.
- Made a mistake? "Undo" at the top goes back a step, and "Redo" brings it back.
- You can install EasyPen on your home screen like an app, and it works offline too.
